From the start of the conflict in Ukraine till now, the UNICEF estimates that 2 million refugee children have had to flee their homes in Ukraine. An additional 2.5 million have been displaced within the country.
With the number of children that are now refugees from this conflict, action must be taken to ensure they have access to resources for their developmental and educational needs.
We will be sending books, educational material, and art supplies to designated youth that have been affected by this conflict. The donation campaign will continue through our first trip to Lviv in early 2023.
As of May 2023, we have sent over backpacks, sketchbooks, children’s books, and crayons to over 200 Ukrainian children affected by the recent invasion.
