Audrey Tharp hails from Gainesville, Florida, and is currently pursuing a major in sociology with a minor in mass communications, focusing on social media management, at the University of Florida. Her career goal is to work in social media management, where she can leverage her skills to make a positive impact.

Audrey chose to work with the Global Education Connection team because of her admiration for the organization's mission. Her studies in sociology have highlighted global disparities, and GEC's commitment to supporting children and communities affected by natural disasters and conflict deeply resonates with her. Additionally, her background in elementary education aligns with GEC's dedication to fostering education and creativity.

One of Audrey's favorite school memories is participating in performing arts, where she was actively involved in choir and drama throughout high school. These experiences allowed her to express herself creatively and bond with like-minded individuals, creating lasting memories.
